The RoseBuck Floral Workshop - 3rd Edition
Our third floral workshop is meant to feel slower, smaller, and a little more personal.
We’ll start the morning at Ghazipur Phool Mandi, watching the city wake up among piles of marigolds and roses. It’s lively, a little chaotic, and full of charm — the kind of place that instantly makes you fall in love with flowers all over again.
Once back at RoseBuck Studio, the rest of the day is spent creating. We’ll work with seasonal blooms, experiment with scale and form, and build floral settings that feel both natural and expressive.
Guided by Shibani Dutta, RoseBuck’s founder and her team, the session is designed for anyone who loves flowers — from complete beginners to hobbyists and those who want to deepen their existing floral skills.
What You’ll Learn
- Basics of floral preparation: cutting, cleaning, and caring for stems
- Creating everyday vase arrangements using regular vessels you already own.
- Crafting a RoseBuck style low-lying tablescape that focuses on shape, movement, and storytelling.
- Building a lush, free-flowing floral forest-style installation.
- Composition, mechanics, layering, and storytelling in floral design
- Styling tips and guidance for individual portraits within your final setup
Schedule
7:00 AM — Flower Market Visit (Ghazipur Mandi)
We’ll begin our morning at Ghazipur Phool Mandi, one of Asia’s largest wholesale flower markets. Explore seasonal blooms, learn how to source and select flowers, and see how we build a palette from scratch.
9:00 AM — Back at the Studio
We’ll gather for breakfast, coffee, and conversation before diving into the creative flow.
10:00 AM — Vase Arrangement Session
Learn the fundamentals of floristry and design a simple, elegant arrangement using vessels found at home.
12:30 PM — The Floral Forest
Build a lush, free-flowing installation — a scene straight out of a Korean winter garden. This is where the creativity really comes alive.
2:00 PM — Lunch Break
Relax and recharge with a light vegetarian lunch.
3:00 PM —Designing the Table Scene
Create a RoseBuck style low-lying table setup that feels intimate, textural, and sculptural. Think natural gestures, soft lines, and an elegant, understated mood.
